If your resolution is to be “greener,” buying a hybrid vehicle is a great place to start. Ford has a great line-up of hybrid vehicles. We here at Rowe Ford Westbrook want to help find you the right Ford hybrid for you. Check out some of our top Ford hybrid models to get an idea of what you may wish to have.

The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E

The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E brings futuristic technology to today. Enjoy your drive with a massive 15.5-inch center touchscreen. Upper trims have a standard audio system that includes the 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen system. Rock out to AM/FM and XM satellite radio or connect your smartphone to the touchscreen to listen to your own music.

Drive around in comfort with the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E. Ample space between the rows and the roof gives more comfort for your tallest of friends. Driver-seat memory settings on the upper trim levels let you switch drivers without spending time adjusting the seat to your comfort levels. Stay warm during those blustery winters with heated front seats and steering wheel.

There is plenty of storage in this SUV. There is standard 29 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats. Do not forget anything you may need for the day with the split rear seats that can fold down to give extra space. The front trunk adds 4.7 cubic feet of cargo space. It is water-resistant, washable, and features a drain. So, if you need to ditch your muddy, rain-soaked gear and do not want to risk getting your new vehicle dirty, pop the front trunk and then hose it down when you get home.

The 2021 Ford Explorer Hybrid

A hybrid vehicle is an option on the 2021 Ford Explorer Limited trim. This vehicle has a 3.3L V6 hybrid engine with 318 horsepower and 322 pound-feet of torque. It also has a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Ford Explorer Hybrid has a standard rear wheel drive, but available four wheel drive will give the right amount of traction on roads during inclement weather. It is the only hybrid in its class that can tow up to 5,000 pounds and has off-roading capabilities.

The SYNC with voice-activated touchscreen navigation system will safely help you find any route and even add destinations, all while hands-free. With FordPass™ Connect, you can enjoy a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot on up to 10 devices to stay connected with your friends and family while on longer adventures. SiriusXM® brings the entertainment with your favorite radio stations blasting through the 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen system.

The second row on the Ford Explorer Hybrid are captain’s chairs that leave a walkway to get to the third row, so no more scuffing up the middle row while trying to climb over them. The available tri-zone electronic automatic temperature control keeps everyone at a comfortable temperature no matter what that may be person to person. If you are already satisfied, you can keep your side at the neutral 65°, but if your passenger is cold, they can heat their side of the vehicle to 70°, for example, without affecting your side. The three zones are the driver, the passenger, and the back rows.

The 2021 Ford Escape Hybird

There are two different types of hybrids on the Ford Escape: the hybrid and the plug-in hybrid. In the regular hybrid, the gas engine and the electric motor work together. The vehicle runs primarily by the battery pack in the plug-in hybrid but will switch over to the gas engine once the battery runs out. The 2021 Ford Escape Hybrid runs on a 2.5L iVCT Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine with 221 horsepower. Front wheel drive is standard on the hybrid.

Inside has plenty of storage. If you have an oddly shaped package, the second-row seats are 60/40 folding seats that can increase cargo configurations.
