Get Ready for Something New

For too long there has been something missing from the Ford F-150. It has always been one of the best trucks around, and the 2018 model in particular has the best-in-class tow rating, payload, and torque, but there has always been one area where it came short: there was no diesel engine. Fortunately, that's about to change. Ford is introducing the first-ever F-150 Power Strike diesel engine, and they're hitting it out of the park.

Ford continues their best-in-class tradition with their new 3.0-liter diesel engine. With its best-in-class diesel 250 horsepower and best-in-class 440 pound-feet of torque, Ford shows that they really know how to make a great truck. It also will have a best-in-class diesel tow rating of 11,400 pounds. Ford aims to hit 30 highway mpg with their new engine, and standard auto stop/start and a 10-speed automatic transmission should help them get there. We should get the diesel-powered Ford F-150 on our lot sometime this spring, and at Rowe Ford Westbrook, we just can't wait.
